What's Buy1Give1?

2017 is an exciting year for us. A big rebrand comes with a new boost of motivation and excitement for the whole team, and our clients too. The process has meant considering what is most important to us as a business. What are our key values? Having a positive impact on the world around us has always mattered to the team, but moving from Caunt and Lowbeer into Imagine cemented the fact it’s really at the core of who we are as a business and as people.

We don’t just talk the talk; we walk it too. Say hello to B1G1. It’s a not-for-profit organisation that harnesses the potential of small and medium businesses that want to give back. Big business currently makes up for the vast majority of corporate charity work. Why? Other than the obvious: money, there’s been a lack of opportunity for the smaller fish to give back in a meaningful way.

With every tax return, new project completion or new client, we donate to those who need it most. B1G1 creates your ‘Giving Stories’ where you can see exactly where the donation has been used and the impact it’s had. So far we’ve helped to provide access to life-saving clean water for families in Ethiopia and education to prevent girls from being trafficked in Cambodia. When Imagine thrives, so do these communities.

There are 800 international projects you can choose to contribute to, all of which work towards the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. These are designed to ensure economic development doesn’t come at the expense of the environment.

Deciding to become a member of B1G1 has been an amazing decision for our business, our team and our clients.  Have a think about what’s most important to you, and act on it. We’re so excited to see how our contributions will continue to help other communities in the years to come.

If you’d like to chat about this initiative more, we’d love to hear from you. Pick up the phone and give us a buzz
