Carol-Ann was part of the Connected Accountants team that joined us over 3 years ago. In July last year Carol-Ann moved into her new role as Workflow Manager. We spoke to Carol-Ann to find out about some of the key projects that she is working on and what keeps her busy outside of work.

What is the focus of your role?
As the Workflow Manager I keep on top of the fees, staff productivity, WIP and job planning. My role is to prioritise workflow, streamline work processes and ensure work is completed on time.

What are some of the key projects that you are working on?
I am currently working on tracking our fees against each team’s capacity, making the process of preparing group returns more efficient and creating processes for Internal administration.

What do you like about working at Imagine Accounting?
They are very flexible with work/life balance. Everyone is very helpful and I think we all help each other to grow professionally.

You became an Australian citizen last month. How does this feel?
I left Scotland about 8 years ago. I never thought that I would ever visit Australia yet alone live here. It’s a very good country for young people and there are a lot of opportunities.

What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy hiking, travelling and trying to learn Japanese and Korean.
