Q: What attracted you to work for Imagine Accounting?
A: I had one of the best interviews with Peter and Josh which helped me to understand their open and vibrant leadership style, as well as the Imagine Accounting Values – which are family first, loving our clients, take responsibility, speak up and think differently. I truly believe these values are crucial in the professional accounting industry to build long relationships with my colleagues and clients.
I do believe that Imagine Accounting has provided a great platform to allow me to further progress my professional career and better myself.
Q: How does Imagine Accounting differ from your previous places of work?
A: In the past 10 years or so, I have worked for smaller accounting firms and one of the big 4 accounting firms.
What I have experienced at Imagine Accounting, is that they build strong relationships with clients and provide a customised client-orientated service. These are qualities which I would expect from a good small accounting firm.
However, Imagine Accounting also take seriously aspects which I would normally expect only from larger accounting firms, things such as, corporate social responsibility, embracing a diversified inclusive culture and taking innovative approaches to make strategic business decisions.
Q: How have you settled in?
A: Though it has only been two months or so, I feel I have worked here much longer than that. The relationship with my colleagues and clients has grown stronger. I look forward to further enhancing the connection, working closely with my clients and helping them achieve their goals in business, family and life.
Q: How would your friends describe you?
A: Full of energy and ideas, open-minded with an inquisitive mindset, consistent, continuously challenging myself.
A: What do you do in your free time?
Q: I am very active in my casual time. I swim, do yoga, go to the gym, play the French horn, attend toastmaster, read and participate in all sorts of things related to personal improvement, as well as volunteer. At the moment, I am participating in a 6-month community volunteering program coaching young adults. Some of my favourite things to do to relax are – socialise with my friends and family and watch movies.
